Happy New Years Eve! This post is coming straight from my newest toy, the Blackberry Storm. So far I've been enjoying it aside from the delay but I've already begun to put my animations on it so we'll see how well it can cope with my lifestyle.

In September, I had the opportunity to work on the team responsible for hosting MetroCAF 2008. MetroCAF is an annual computer animation festival that shows the best of student animations from schools in the Metropolitan area. My job consisted of motion graphics for the title slates for each submission. Here you can view a montage of some of the different title slates I did.

Yesterday was the first day of shooting for the music video, Lyrical Assassination by Hip Hop artist, Mavarick. This is Mav’s debut music video and serving as co-director, my job is to oversee the technical aspects of the shoot. The first day was shot at the the Art Institute in Manhattan. I won’t give out the concept of the video just yet, but it’s gonna be crazy! Below are some images of the shoot. Later today, we will be doing the second phase of the video shoot which will be shot in Long Island. Stay tuned…
